What a week it’s been. First Ed McMahon and now Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. Not to mention the death of mister Mark Sanford’s political career. As for the Sanford thing, I was over it the day it came out. I really don’t care to read the emails or articles about his mistress. Unless something…

So I’m going with a weekly tea post, rather than a daily one. This week’s iced tea is Qing Xiang Oolong which can be found in the Teavana Emperor’s Collection Tea Sampler Gift Box, Teavana Rooibos Tropica Tea, and some Teavana German Rock Cane Sugar (1 lb). Its quite tasty. I’m going to have to…

First of all I don’t believe Apex Systems is actually behind this. Let’s hope not at least. So I got a letter today, at work of all places, supposedly from Apex Systems. Included with the letter was a check for about $2500. The letter included instructions which involved sending most of the money back via…

I downloaded the SirusXM iPhone app this morning and have been listening to it all day. Browsing the channels and checking the audio quality. So far I’m pretty impressed. I love that while browsing you see what’s actually playing on the stations. The audio quality is pretty darn good too. There aren’t too many features…

All month I’ve been celebrating National Iced Tea Month. I’m really really trying to post more about tea. I love it. Today’s tea is: Very Berry, Honeybush Vanilla, and some German rock cane sugar. All can of course be found at Teavana. You can’t really tell from the pictures but the tea has this wonderful…

I completely forgot about this fabulous little app. I always have issues at work with turning music off/down when I get a call or need to talk to someone. Rediscovering the app this week has made the whole process so much easier. Plus it comes in super handy with the Apple TV. I use it…

First of all like the subject says, this is my official entry in the Carpe Corpus Giveaway over at Darque Revies. Over there is a great guest spot written by the author Rachel Caine. In it she explains the story of how the Morganville Vampire series (one of my favorites) came to be. If you…

I hate you Apple and AT&T. It’s going to cost me at least $400 to upgrade my iPhone. Which isn’t going to happen since mine is a company phone and boss man isn’t going to pay for it. *sigh* Anyone want to donate? Oh well, I’m still excited for 3.0. Totally lame about waiting till…

I watched Blood & Chocolate for the first time in a while. I forgot how much I love that movie, and the book, and the soundtrack. The book is great and the movie is good in its own way, even though there are barely any similarities. That’s it.

Nothing really exciting going on in my world. There are some new books that I want to read, but of course I can’t afford them. Anyone want to help support my young adult vampire novel obsession? Check out my Amazon.com Wishlist. Anyways, I did join Netflix last week. So far I’ve been using it for…
