4sq Day, Adobe Subscriptions, WoW and a few other things

First off tomorrow is Foursquare Day! There will be parties all over the place celebrating. Our local one will again be at Madra Rua. For the Meetup site visit here. I hope to see a lot of people out. Next year I will actually be planning it and trying to get us the prize package.

The next thing I want to talk about is the new Adobe Subscriptions program. I am so excited for this. I haven’t been able to afford to upgrade my software. My work computer is rocking pre Adobe and Macromedia merger stuff (yea its that bad). This subscription thing is awesome for me. I can definitely afford the monthly charge because I rarely have the kind of cash on hand to buy the software and when I do I have something more important to buy (like Final Cut, I need Final Cut).

So, I have officially quit playing WoW for the foreseeable future. Even though I finally got to raid, I have just lost interest in the game. I was really enjoying Cataclysm for a while but in March I just got so bored. I haven’t actually logged into the game in a few weeks so yesterday I went ahead and canceled my account. Maybe one day I’ll return to the game but for right now I plan to focus my free time on my graphic design.

Oh yea! Don’t forget Sanctuary returns tonight on Syfy!
