Atlanta – Part 1

This trip was quite an experience. I had one hell of an awesome week, but that’s not what this post is about. Friday afternoon my friend and I left Charleston for Atlanta. We got on the road around 4PM after getting gas and all that good stuff. By 8 we were 40 miles outside of Atlanta and we stopped to get something to eat. Correction, we stopped about five or six times looking for Krystals. It took over an hour to finally find one. Yelp lies about the Krystal locations. Anyway, I realized right then that I didn’t have my wallet. Which meant we couldn’t get into the hotel or the concert.

So I pretty much had a panic attack. Yea that was fun. After a lot of crying, yelling, and convincing my parents hit the road for Columbia. We started to head back as well. Thanks to Jack’s driving we made it to right outside Columbia around the same time they did. We filled up on gas and once again headed back for Atlanta. Let me tell you, that road construction in Augusta is insane. That was some of the worst conditions I’ve ever driven in. We finally made it to the hotel and were in our room by 3AM. I was so beat. I set my computer up and played online for a bit and then I was out.

Saturday was a much better day. We got up and headed to Perimeter Mall. Where I had all sorts of plans to go clothes & makeup shopping. That mall was way too packed. I ended up just getting some new tea from Teavana. I love that place. We headed over to another mall (I can not remember the name of right now). And boy did I tear it up there. Torrid was having a buy on get one on all their sale items. I made out with a nice haul of new jeans (which I needed desperately) a tank, two tops, and a jacket all for about $150. I never did make it to MAC to take advantage of all the empties I could trade in. I just had no energy all weekend to deal with that.

Alright, this post is kinda long so I’ll continue the story tomorrow. Including pictures from the concert.
