Booyah!

Booyah! Society is an iPhone application that I’m totally addicted to. To start you create yourself an avatar. You tell the app what you are doing and it will update your Twitter and Facebook status. The best part about connecting your Facebook and Twitter is that every time you update you have the option of using it or not. There are different categories and as you update you earn achievements. Also if it is synced with your Facebook you will each achievements when people Like or comment on your updates.

My favorite part are the achievements. There are a few that I can’t see myself getting anytime in the near future. They consist of updating while you are in certain locations all over the world. Another cool feature are the tips the app gives you depending on which category you are looking at. As you update, unlock achievements, and view tips  you earn points and also clothing items for your avatar. In the society section you can see updates from people all over the world. It will also show you your Facebook news feed and you can see what friends are using the app too.

There is one downside to the app. For a while I was not earning the achievements that are Facebook based. You need to make sure you log into the app everyday in order to ensure you get credit. Its kind of annoying, but now that I use the app more it doesn’t seem to be a problem.
