Long overdue

So the long delay in posting was due to me being sick. I had a sinus infection. It sucked royally. Anyways This post is about my birthday weekend. More on being sick and such later. I also have a lot of video of the jets practicing Friday to edit. Hopefully I’ll have that up tomorrow.

Friday night I went out to dinner with Jack, Amanda, and Lindsey. We had a great time minus our terrible waiter. Saturday I attended the open house at the Art Institute and once again they pissed me off. Its just not cool that they have such a weird scheduling thing. I can’t go and finish my bachelors there because of work. After that my mom, sister and I checked into the French Quarter Inn. I did some shopping down on King mainly. I bought this awesome tea from Teavana. I went looking for Momiji dolls at Urban Outfitters but they didn’t have them. So I got a Yummy Donut key chain instead. I had dinner at Ansons and it was fabulous. My mom, sister, Jack and I proceeded to drink almost three bottles of champaign that night. Blah. Sunday we did a little shopping and I added Saturn to my collection of glass planets. Then we had brunch at Tristans. After that I pretty much just went home and used up all my iTunes gift cards on Blood Ties, How I Met Your Mother, and the Ten Commandments.
