SiriusXM iPhone app

webI downloaded the SirusXM iPhone app this morning and have been listening to it all day. Browsing the channels and checking the audio quality. So far I’m pretty impressed. I love that while browsing you see what’s actually playing on the stations. The audio quality is pretty darn good too.

There aren’t too many features to it, but there are two amazing ones. First you can add the stations you frequent to your favorites and that makes it much easier to find them. The second feature is the ability to buy the song you’re listening to from iTunes. That is so freaking cool. You’re given the option to either buy it now or save it to your shopping cart. Both features are accessed by clicking on the area displaying what you’re listening to.

I did have to pay to upgrade my service to premium but I think in the long run it will be worth it. There are only a few downsides. I really wish the Howard Stern channels were available. Perhaps in the future?? Its also not super battery friendly and of course the app has to be open to listen. Anyways check out the pictures. I tried to get one of all the features.
