Last night I gathered up all the twigs and leaves in the yard and lit probably the last fire I’d be having until fall. I got the Uniflame WAD997SP Aged Bronze Outdoor Firebowl with Lattice Design last year on Black Friday from Amazon and have loved it ever since. I didn’t get a chance to use it as much as I’d have liked to but with the weather beginning to finally warm up, at least for today, I don’t see many more opportunities other than leaf burning for it. But that’s ok, I’m really looking forward to the warmer weather (just not the pollen).
Tip:
Here’s a little tip for quickly getting your fires going. If you’re reading this then you probably use toilet paper and usually use a dryer for your clothes (but you never know). All those empty toilet paper rolls and annoying dryer lint can be put to good use. Stuff the empty toilet paper rolls with dryer lint and use them as fire starters. It’s a great use for both of these instead of just tossing them in the trash. Of course I don’t recommend stocking up on them throughout the year as that’s a major fire hazard, but making them as needed so far has been a big help.
